Portugieser variety is the first to ripe in Villány, and it is also one of the most popular varieties in the wine region. Medium intense purple colour. Light, fruity nose with black berries along with some playful spiciness. It is not a full bodied wine, but it is easy to love it thanks to its vibrant fruitiness, the refreshing acids and soft tannins. We recommend to serve it at 18°C. Perfect match with roasted goose or duck garnished with braised red cabbage. Also good with cold platters of typical Hungarian sausages.
